2-Aminotetralin CAS # 2954-50-9 (2-AT), also known as 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-amine (THN), is a chemical-structured stimulant compound consisting of an amine-combined tetraline group.
2-Aminotetralin CAS # 2954-50-9 In rat discrimination studies, 2-AT is a rigid phenylisobutylamine analogue and completely replaces d-amphetamine, but at one eighth the potency. The reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine has been shown to be inhibited, and possibly also causes their release. It is also likely to work on dopamine due to its complete replacement of d-amphetamine in rat studies.
