5-Meo-DIBF

Category:

5-MeO-DiBF is a psychedelic drug marketed online as a designer drug that was first definitively identified by a forensic laboratory in Slovenia in December 2015. For the 5-HT1A and 5-HT2 family of serotonin receptors, it is thought to act as an agonist. It is associated in structure with the 5-MeO-DiPT psychedelic tryptamine derivative, but with the oxygen substituted indole nitrogen, making 5-MeO-DiBF a derivative of benzofuran. As a serotonin agonist, it is many times less active than 5-MeO-DiPT and has comparatively greater activity at 5-HT1A, but it still has the greatest effects on the 5-HT2 receptor family.
